Please be aware that if you fail to adhere to the below rules you will be asked to leave the park immediately without refund.

  • Dogs must be registered and desexed.
  • Only one dog is allowed per site or cabin. (There may be some exceptions)
  • The dog must be leashed (leash must be no more than 2 metres in length) at all times while not in your van, tent or chalet/cabin.
  • The dog must be supervised at all times and never left unattended including inside a tent, van or chalet/cabin.
  • Dogs are not allowed in any common areas of the park including camp kitchen, pool area, amenities, playground or any public areas.
  • Dogs and any dog related accessories, can only be washed or cleaned at the dog wash.
  • Dogs can be exercised at the dog friendly beach 150m away.
  • Dog owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their dog's waste.
  • Dog owners are personally responsible, and will be held to be so, for any and all personal injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions by or because of their dog.
  • Dogs are accepted at managers descretion and some breeds will not be accepted.

Management reserves the right to evict any guests whose dog is deemed noisy, disruptive, aggressive or is the the subject of complaints from other guests.

Dog friendly attractions and beaches

There are plenty of dog friendly wineries and breweries in the region that will be happy for you to enjoy a leisurely lunch on their grounds with your furry friend in tow. We recommend you check the business website or contact them prior to arrival to ensure they have not changed their policy.

If you would like to exercise your furry friend, there are several designated dog exercise beaches throughout the City of Busselton. The beach directly down the road from BIG4 Beachlands is designated as a dog-friendly off the leash beach. Please remember that there are many National Parks in the Margaret River Region and these areas are restricted for dog access.

View our Beachlands Dog Guide for more information.

What to bring

BIG4 Beachlands is located a short distance from the shops of Busselton, so stocking up on supplies when you arrive should not be a problem. If your dog has special dietary requirements, or eats a particular food, we recommend that you bring that with you.

  • It can also be a good idea to bring bedding, toys and food/water bowls that are familiar for your dog. This can help them to settle into their new surroundings.
  • We will supply you with a number of pooch bags on arrival, but please ensure you have your own supply as you will need to clean up after your furry friend.
  • Please bring your lead, so you can safely escort your dog around the park.
