Best breakfast in Busselton

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Whether you believe that is true or not, one thing's for sure: breakfast is tasty. And the best breakfast in Busselton is really delicious.

Going out for a morning meal is special. For some, it's a ritual. Brunch is often one of those Sunday morning gatherings with best friends or family that is favourable and joyful, not only because there's coffee involved. Maybe it's the smokey bacon. Perhaps it's the sweetness of maple syrup.

In this post, we've curated the best breakfasts in Busselton so you can fuel your body in the most delicious way.

Bistro Breton

Smack bang in the heart of Busselton is Bistro Breton, a French restaurant with flair. They specialise in crepes, those thin French pancakes that everyone loves.

Their breakfast menu includes a mix of sweet and savoury crepes and French-style omelettes. One thing that makes Bistro Breton's savoury crepes unique is the fact they are made with buckwheat flour, which means they are gluten-free, naturally. La Roscoff includes smokey salmon, baby spinach, and a tangy lemon and chive Crème Fraiche; so yummy, and very moreish.

For a sweet breakfast, La Suzette is their take on the famous Crépes Suzette. Tiny, folded crépes served with citrus butter, orange caramel sauce, and lemon sorbet. Get fancy with a dosing of Grand Marnier to set your meal alight.

Breakfast is served 8am -11:30am

The Goose Beach Bar & Kitchen

A favourite Busselton seaside eatery is The Goose Beach Bar & Kitchen, known locally as simply, The Goose. Come for breakfast, stay for the fantastic views of the Busselton Jetty and the laid-back vibes on the outside deck.

The Goose is a fabulous place for breaky after a walk on the jetty or an early morning beach jog. The coffee is flavourful and the bacon and eggs your way with wood-fired toast will re-fuel your body. The menu offers a good selection of big and small breakfasts and extras such as smashed avocado and braised field mushrooms.

The Equinox

The Busselton foreshore is blessed with not one, but two restaurants sporting incredible views of the Indian Ocean. A short stroll from The Goose is a family favourite, The Equinox.

Their breakfast menu offers something for everyone with many options for gluten-free, vegetarian and dairy-free requirements. For something light, try the toasted granola with seeds, nuts, vanilla yogurt, and strawberries.

For bigger appetites, the pancakes with butter and maple syrup will satisfy cravings for sweetness. They also have a massive menu of add ons: blueberry jam, goat's feta, and roasted Roma tomatoes are just a few scrumptious examples.

Busselton Best Breakfast Waffles

New kid on the breakfast block is Saltrock, which many people will remember as Hodge Podge (yep, they're gone) in Abbey. Break the fast with a Benny hot roll to go. It's Eggs Benedict served in a soft roll from Rise & Co with your choice of ham, bacon or smoked salmon.

If you'd like to sit in for your first meal of the day, they've got all the breaky classics: pancakes, smashed avo on toast, Eggs Benny, and everyone's mega meal, The Big Brekkie.

For something lighter, try a traditional toastie with a modern twist or one of their fruit smoothies. We love their nod to Dirty Dancing with the watermelon smoothie called Baby in the Corner.

Breakfast is served 8am – 11:30am and 12noon – 1:30pm

Where: 1 Caves Road, Abbey (08) 9755 0507
