Flying Foxes

The Margaret River region is now lucky enough to have not one, but two ropes challenge course with zip-lining. South West Forest Adventures is going strong in the Tuart Forest near Busselton with courses ranging from easy to extreme for ages seven and up. If you've ever thought about BASE-jumping, here's your chance to try it without having to learning how to fly a parachute. Note: it's not for the faint-hearted, but it may create some giant smiles and laughs from onlooking family members.

In 2018, Dunsborough's Next Level Monkey Business joined the ranks of fun family adventure park with courses for kids as young as four. How cute would it be to see your little darling geared up and ready to climb a tree without the worry? Trees, nature, fun, and coffee. Did we mention there's a cafe on-site?

Busselton foreshore

Water Babies

When the sun's beating down there's no better place to be than in the cool sea. Every summer school holidays the inflatable waterpark, Aquatastic sets up in the waters for some of the best fun in Busselton over the hottest months. The maze of slides, climbable mountains, tunnels, floating beds, and challenging teeter-totters make for laugh of loud entertainment for kids, mums, dads, and the whole clan.

Golf and Ice Cream

Who wouldn't have the best time ever at an ice cream/mini golf/playground/picnic spot? Simmos Ice Creamery Family Fun Park located between Dunsborough and Yallingup is the place to guarantee the whole family will have a ball. Challenge the kids to a round of mini golf with a top prize of a double scoop ice cream from their 60 delicious flavours.

Slide in

Xscape at The Cape is one of the region's most fun activities for kids and their parents -  it has something for everyone in the family. Of course, the giant inflatable waterslide is a hit with the kids, but mums and dads need to get on that too – it's loads of laughs. The trampolines are another way to have a ton of fun as you re-connect to your inner child. And a good-spirited game of laser tag is a sure-fire way to some healthy family-centric competition. Surf's Up

How fun would it be to learn to surf as a family? You'd probably gain the title of Rad Dad and Fun Mum if you hang ten with the kiddies on your next holiday 'Down South'. Yallingup Surf School offers 90-minute family lessons that are custom-made to the ages, levels, and abilities of your family or group. Surfing may seem daunting to the newbie, but it sure is an epic way to get out of your comfort zone and into the deep end, so to speak. Don't panic, lessons are held in shallow waters. As another incentive, they have the cutest toddler hoodies that say 'I stood up' on the back. Awwww...
